On-Call Commercial Cleaning Technician

How On-Call Works
As an on-call employee, your hours are not guaranteed and will vary week to week based on client demand and your availability. When a shift becomes available that matches your schedule, you will be contacted. You are not required to accept every shift, but consistent availability and reliability are important. Strong performers in this role are often considered first for regular positions as they become available.
Responsibilities
- Respond to on-call shift requests based on your stated availability
- Perform routine cleaning of commercial facilities including offices, healthcare settings, retail spaces, and educational institutions
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas
- Follow client-specific cleaning protocols and checklists
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and responsibly
- Represent Class 1 Cleaning professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
Required
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Flexibility to accept shifts on short notice when available
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs, and working on your feet for extended periods
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check
- Dependable and professional when called upon
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous commercial or residential cleaning experience (not required)
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Availability during evenings and weekends
